Bret Rock

Born in upstate New York, Bret moved to Florida to attend Florida State University in 2000. In many ways, it’s like the film Rudy, only if Rudy had never tried to play for the football team, attended class on a somewhat infrequent basis and was pretty lazy on the whole of things.

What Bret did do was accumulate a great enough collection of films over time to allow for this project to take place. I think we can all agree that deserves some sort of “carried off on teammates shoulders” moment.

Bret married Erin in September 2009 and currently finds himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong and hoping each time that the next leap will be the leap home.

The Chewbacca to Bret’s Han Solo, Erin Marie Geraghty Rock is a proud graduate of the University of North Florida where the Osprey is king and all other birds are… well… still other birds? I guess?

Born a mermaid, Erin was granted human legs by a horrific sea witch so that she might pursue her one true love: Orlando Bloom’s Legolas Greenleaf from The Lord of the Rings.

After the initial shock of the realization that Legolas was fiction wore off (and that Orlando Bloom is kind of a lady), she met Bret and they have lived happily ever after. At least until Erin gave Almost Heroes a 1/2 Star review.
